does this work with LOD?

if u r new to modding d2 then all u have to do is open up that file u downloaded and copy the 'data' folder into ur d2 folder on ur computer. the default place it installs is in ur Program Files under ur C: hard drive. if u dont have a 'zip' program windows will ask if u want to extract them and just say yes. now you have the mod in ur d2. but u need to tell ur computer to read the data folder u just put in there. so you go to where ur d2 icon is (usually on ur desktop) and right click it. a menu should pop up next to it and click the very bottom one, should be Properties. a window should pop open named something like diablo 2 Properties. there is a section called Target. this is how u tell the computer to read that extra folder u put in ur d2. now, it should have your d2 directory which should be something like this, "C:\Program Files\Diablo II.exe" notice the quotations, those should be in there. now wat u need to add is this TO THE VERY END OUTSIDE THE QUOTES AND WITH A SPACE, -direct -txt

so it should end up looking somewhat like this

"C:\Program Files\Diablo II" -direct -txt

NOTE: yes there is a space between the -direct and the -txt.

also, for playing in a window instead of full screen, add this anywhere behind the -txt.

-w = window screen
-skiptobnet = skips login screen

You need some kinda of "zip" program. most of the common ones are, WinZip, WinRAR, etc. that may be your problem and those r both freeware so download.

No, you can not get ban from this. Blizzard cannot scan your computer for additional files in your D2 directory. THIS IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM ANY MAPHACK PROGRAM OR BOTS! those r programs that usually use the file stream of the game over the internet. this means blizzard CAN AND WILL look for data that is not normal. most maphacks have the feature of looking at other players gear at will. that is how blizzard can find out who is using maphack.

dont be scared to use TMC, FC, mods, or any NON-PROGRAM files on D2.

hey i downloaded it and its in my diablo2 folder and everything do i have to delete my old farcastv2 things from my diablo2 folder?

im not sure what this guy is saying about black people and white girls spelled with a z but this mod pretty much re-skins ur whole game. and re-skin means just makes it look different then the normal. changes alot of what the monsters look like, hammers look like holy bolts but green instead of blue, sorcs lightning looks way cooler and better then the mornal one. and it takes out the skeletons in uber trist. if u have ever uber lvled before, i recommend this mod for just that reason. takes out pretty much all game lag. internet lag will stay but other then that its a pretty kick ass mod with NO KEY LOGGING for who ever said they had it lol. noob

you guys r retarded. this works just fine. and there is NO key logging in this folder. it would have to be installed to have key logging cuz if would have no clue wtf u were typing with. dont listen to who ever said the key logging. hes a noob like half of bnet.
